Do you know any popular asian and european radio stations that play hit songs?
Did You Know That A Radio Station In Detroit, Michigan named 93.1 DRQ Got Circumcised Against His Will?
93.1 was able to offer Top 40 - Hit music to all metro Detroiters until ABC/ Disney radio circumcised him. After the circumcision was performed on 93.1 FM, he was not able to offer hit music no more to metro Detroiters because his foreskin was cut off by ABC/ Disney radio.
93.1 FM is still circumcised today, and the format is Jack FM, and 93.1 FM is named 93.1 Doug FM.
The same thing happened to me but my parents never told me, I was circumcised as a child and I did not find out until I was 19 years old when I looked up circumcision on the internet.
Me and 93.1 DRQ both got circumcised against our will.
93.1 DRQ format got changed on April 1st 2005, which 2 years before Citadel Broadcasting bought ABC/ Disney’s radio stations.
The format changed at 93.1 DRQ in Detroit was not an effect of the ABC/Disney radio buyout by Citadel Broadcasting.

Should all Top 40 radio stations play an equal amount of music?
I believe that many Top 40 radio stations all over the United States are playing an unequal amount of music when it comes to genres. Contemporary hit radio is sometimes repetitive because the latest hits get played all over again, while the oldest hits receive small amounts of airplay. Look at my example: In some cities, especially coastal areas such as Los Angeles, more rap is played on the radio than rock, and I’m very annoyed by how a rock artist like Simple Plan gets replaced by a rapper like Snoop Dogg.
Isn’t it time that all Top 40 airplay should be controlled to ensure that stations receive an equal amount of music genres played? I’d wish that 50% of pop/rock should be played, with the 50% of rap, R&B, and dance also played, not counting commercials or talk radio. Plus, US Top 40 should play their domestic hits that were only popular overseas so that the US leads the world in contemporary hits radio.
What do you think?

Recommend a good radio station in NYC area for popular music?
I haven’t listened to radio in quite a while, and I wouldn’t know what the good stations are to hear pop or dance music. Whatever is in the Billboard top pop hits, I guess. Things like Madonna, Mariah, etc. Can someone recommend a good station that I can pick up in NYC plays the hits including new stuff?
p.s Terrestrial, not satellite. I’m not in satellite yet. Thanks!
Thomas
